Jacketed ball
valve possesses good thermal insulation /cold insulation properties, can
effectively reduce heat loss of
the media in the pipeline. Jacketed ball valve is widely used in
chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, metallurgy industries system in pipeline.
Due to the valve seal structure and its corresponding sealing material,jacketed ball valve working temperature is less than 200℃. Although seat can use high strength graphite materials, which can resist 300 ℃ in a short period, there are many parts required seal still unable to seal in high temperature situation, especially the radial seal. High strength graphite is not suitable for radial seal. Usually insulation ball valve radial sealing use the o-ring seal structure.Then Using temperature is restricted by the o-ring, which uses viton, and viton working temperature is within 200℃, And cannot be used within the limit of temperature for a long time. That cannot satisfy the requirement of many medium. For example, when the medium is rosin, it requires working temperature 300 ℃, so that rosin obtain ideal liquidity. O-ring as sealing cannot meet the requirements.
